"The issue that I encountered on my visit was the fact that no were was it mentioned that they required $100 deposit at check-in. The breakfast is OK basic cereal, and waffles. The pool was nothing like the pictures a lot smaller in person. The room was clean I will say. Just there has to be advertisement of a refundable hundred dollar deposit somewhere I would rather have gone to a nicer place that did not require a deposit. My trip became 230 for the night versus the 130 including fees. At check out they said I would get the money back in 5 to 7 business days. It’s only $100 yes but the issue is the principal not the money nowhere was it advertised and why is it gonna take so long to get it back?"

"I usually don’t leave reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. My stay at Comfort Inn & Suites in Padre Island was extremely disappointing. The room we were first given was absolutely filthy—bathroom not cleaned, stains and dirt all over the walls, and it looked like it hadn’t been properly maintained at all. There were even exposed electrical chutes with wires hanging, which felt unsafe. Because of how bad the room was, we had to be moved to a different one. While the second room was slightly better, it still did not meet basic cleanliness standards and looked nothing like the photos advertised online. What made things worse was the customer service. A supervisor acknowledged how unacceptable the original room was and promised us a discount for the inconvenience. However, when it came time to follow through, no discount was given. Due to how horrible the accommodations were overall, we ended up leaving a day early because we simply did not feel comfortable staying there any longer. This experience was frustrating from start to finish. The lack of cleanliness, safety concerns, and failure to honor what was promised is unacceptable. I even took video footage to document everything. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a clean and honest stay."

"We stayed in the "honeymoon" room. It wasn't great, sheets felt like 80 grit sandpaper, it wasn't much for looks. The blanket they give you is a sheet...not warm at all. The hotel guests were wretched, drunken college kids screaming and fighting all night. Parking sucks....not coming back, we checked out a night early. Oh and the towels are thin, tiny and rough as heck."

"It was nice. Had a good pool, balcony, and a place to rince off after a sandy beach day. And it was right next to a tatoo parlor and a really good restaurant right next door. Everyone was very friendly, room was spacious, accommodating, and clean. We had a lovely stay. 10/10 we would come back. "
