Location not the best if you DON’T do your research ahead of time. -But if you can figure out how to purchase bus tickets in downtown Sorrento at a tobacco shop first, then it is only about 8 minutes from the city center. I was shocked to find out that taxi cabs cost anywhere from 40-70 euro for such a short distance. "This was a fantastic spot to hide away from the tourist bustle right downtown - we were a 15 minute walk to a lot of the busy areas but enjoyed privacy and walking around the beautiful gardens. The pool looked clean, and the bar was actually quite good after a long day of traveling! The only issue is that the location advertised air conditioning, but it was not enabled in our room. Not the biggest deal because it’s spring, but any hotter and this would be a deal breaker. Room was fully redone...
