Really enjoyed our stay on this property. The breakfast was good and helped us save a little bit of $$$ especially since our trip was very expensive. When we booked, we didn’t realize how the hotel is in a rural area and is not in a walkable area. Luckily the hotel provides a shuttle every hour (with the exception of around 1-3pm and 9-11pm then no shuttle after 11pm). Lauren worked at the front desk and she was very nice and pleasant. She was super helpful and we enjoyed talking to her. Overall, the staff at the hotel are so nice and Lauren stood out the most.

We had a fantastic week at the Aminta. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is immaculate and we really appreciated the outdoor pool being heated. The food is excellent and offers a wide variety to suit all tastes. I would recommend this hotel highly

I enjoyed my stay at the property. Staff were warm and friendly and very attentive. For the room I would suggest towel hooks as there is no where to hang the towels so we can reuse them. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Grand Hotel Aminta is a simply wonderful hotel. It has impeccably clean rooms with wonderful sweeping views over the Gulf of Naples and Mediterranean Sea. The staff could not have been more courteous or helpful, and the restaurant dining was excellent. It has a real “old world” charm - the kind of atmosphere and service that is sadly lacking from so many modern, more “corporate” hotels. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Also worth noting it has a regular private bus service into Sorrento that works like clockwork, and many excursions to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast and more can be organised straight from the hotel. Absolutely excellent!

Room was lovely and the Jacuzzi bath a real bonus and appreciated after a days walk in Pompeii. Breakfast spread was up there with the best I’ve seen. Staff very helpful and friendly Shuttle bus to and from town necessary given the hotels location but worked well and - boy what a location for stunning views

This property was perfect for our vacation. It was "off the beaten path," but provided a shuttle for easy access to the city center. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The service staff in the dining room was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Praiano is such a charming town and the La Barbera was a perfect place to stay. Everything was perfect - From the moment we arrived and were guided to the beautiful patio and given an Aperol spritz, to our wonderful room with a comfortable bed spacious bathroom and patio with views for miles, to the wonderful breakfast every morning, and finally, the fabulous staff. Francesco was there to great us every afternoon after our day of adventuring. He made wonderful suggestions for dinner and booked the reservations. Sylvia greeted us each morning for breakfast and provided wonderful advice for planning each day. We stayed three nights and then spent four in Sorrento. We wish we had stayed one more night at La Barbera!

Location was absolutely amazing, staff and service was amazing, Transportation to centre of city every hour Tranquil getaway about a 10 minute drive from city Centre. Fantastic outdoor pool and incredible hot tub overlooking mount Vesuvius. Highly recommend

The restaurant was the best part of this hotel. Unfortunately, my room had several issues — the sink and bathtub weren’t working properly, and the shower design caused water to spill all over the floor because the showerhead was positioned too close to the edge. The breakfast was also underwhelming. Overall, it’s not worth over $500 a night.

We were a party of 6 staying at this lovely hotel set on the hill side overlooking the sea. We had great rooms all with sea views on the fourth floor, they were spacious with goid storage and small balconies. Breakfast was included there was plenty of choice, staff always welcomed you with a smile. All the hotel staff we encountered were lovely and friendly and helpful, from reception staff, bar staff , pool attendants the cleaners and the shuttle bus drivers , nothing was ever too much. Vittoria, who welcomed us Francesco who checked us out were fabulous. Special shout out to Nello the pool man he was fabulous always greeted you with a huge smile and hello, he even had time to say goodbye as we checked out even though it was early an morning checkout. The hotel offers a hourly shuttle bus service from 9am to 11pm into the centre with returns hourly from 9:30am to 11:30pm. The later return shuttles could be busy sometimes but you were never left stranded the driver always ensured he got you back to the hotel . Would definitely recommend this hotel .
