Park Hotel I Lecci
2/10 Terrible
"Do not stay at this hotel! It is so old and smells terrible. Everything is very dated and unpleasant. Furthermore, the air conditioning simply does not work. I spent the day out, and when I returned, the room felt like a sauna. I had bought some chocolates, and they were all completely melted. When we went to the front desk to complain, we were informed that the system was designed that way—that it merely "pulled in" outside air—and since it had been a very hot day, the room was hot as a result. They suggested that we open the balcony door and sleep with it open. They even claimed that the temperature is uniform throughout the entire hotel and that, consequently, they couldn't adjust it because other guests might complain! Completely absurd and unacceptable. I had to leave in the middle of the night—my daughter and I—to find another place to stay. Bear in mind that this town is located in the absolute middle of nowhere, and by 8 PM, nothing is open—not even a pharmacy or a grocery store. I had to drive three hours back to Rome just to find a hotel. And to top it all off, they refused to give me any refund whatsoever for my terrible experience."
"Pool and spa timing was wierd . We stayed with family never got a chance when we are back from sightseeing its done . Kids timing was more difficult to use . Not worth the money .staff was nice"
"Lovely seat. Beautiful beach and swimming pool. Although pool not heated water was not too cold to easily get in and swim some laps. Only negative was restaurant, which has only passable food and was expensive. Breakfast was good and generous."
"We had a very comfortable room with a balcony view of the river and sea. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Excellent breakfast and good hotel restaurant. Other advantages are free parking (500 metres away) and a 10 euro voucher if you opt not to have your room cleaned one day. "
"Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, the hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, and the staff are simply lovely.
The reception team greeted us with genuine warmth and helpfulness, and the breakfast staff were a joy — always smiling, accommodating, and full of positive energy. The location is serene, with stunning tennis courts and what might be the most incredible pool we’ve ever swum in — large, crystal clear, and perfectly warm.
Everything we needed was right on hand: a great bar, a delicious restaurant, and plenty of space to relax. Highlights included the freshly made pasta, pizza, salads, and desserts — all absolutely delicious. And the breakfast was outstanding, especially the homemade banana bread!
If we could offer one small piece of advice, it would be to share more photographs on social media to showcase just how special this place is — the marvellous staff, the food, the facilities, and the tranquil setting. That said, part of us wants to keep this gem a secret!
Highly recommended — we can’t wait to return."
