"For our first visit to Italy, this hotel, Perugia and all at Locanda Stella truly were the kindest most caring people. They took care of us from the start, got to know us and what we liked and preferred and had that ready for us each morning at breakfast. The room was beautiful and clean and super comfortable and the view could not be beat. We fell in love with this hotel and its owners and can not wait to go back. If you are on the fence, don’t be. This place exceeds all expectations!! We will...
"My stay was not planned well in advance. I had a fairly traumatic day with a lot of stress and being on the edge of heatstroke. I was supposed to have been hundreds of kilometers away but could not make it there. I booked the room at Lo Spedalicchio as it was close and well reviewed. The woman working there, Susanna ( I'm sorry if the spelling is wrong), was amazing. She was very helpful and attentive. I was at a very low point and my stay there was great! Thank you!"

Il Castellaro Country House
Il Castellaro Country House"Beautiful, seculded hilltop estate with great view and beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Hosts were warm and inviting and dinner of regional cuisine was good. Rooms are large and relatively sparse with minimal amenities, and beware there is no A/C. Breakfast was simple. They produce award winning olive oil available for purchase."
