"I pre paid for a non smoking room. I called early in the day to let them know I would be a late check in due to a concert. We get there at 1am. They sold my room. I was forced to take a nasty smokers room. It smelled!!!! The door to the bathroom did not close. I have stayed here before in the non smoking. But never again."

"It was a convenient option while traveling but I was sold a room that maintenance staff still was activiely working and I also found a spider in my room as well."

"We stayed here for the room rate and attached parking since we drove to Chicago. This is also a great location. Our beds were comfortable. I wish they would remove the carpeting. It’s old and has a little smell. The deodorizers they use don’t help! Overall, the room was clean but don’t like that carpet in the room and hallway."

"This place is the best value, as far as hotels go in Des Plaines. There is nothing I would criticize about it. I visit the area two-three times a year and most often stay there (unless the room prices at the nearby higher ranking places are similar)."
