"Staff were lovely. Room very dated, mattress so old it's like sleeping straight on the bed base, had to sleep on half the duvet just for a bit of softness. Window didn't close properly. Loose wires coming out of the wall. "

"Room was nice and cosy , unfortunately had to leave for work every day to early for breakfast but there were some bits and pieces there if I wanted , plenty of hot water for a bath , bed was nice and comfortable, the only bad thing was someone had been in the room and taken my shampoo and razor the day before I left so could not was my hair or have a shave "

"I am a repeat customer at The Mitre. The hotel has a wonderful "old-world" charm to it, but they’ve balanced it perfectly with the modern amenities you actually need. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. I managed to leave an item in my room after checking out and Sandra was an absolute lifesaver. Even though the hotel was buzzing with the Friday morning guests, she took the time to coordinate getting the item across the city to one of my colleagues, in rush hour during a tube...
