La recepcion olia mucho a marihuana. Y en la madrugada empezó a olor terriblemente a Marihuana dentro de mi cuarto. Eso me hizo sentir insegura he incomoda. Es lamentable porque si me agradaba el hotel xola, de hecho ya me habia hospedado antes y todo había estado bién.

The only plus was the king size bed. The room had spots on the wall, probably from the various bugs that have been killed on there. On our 2nd night there, there was a spider on the wall waiting by my side of the bed. The staff was friendly, but check-in wasn’t the smoothest. The whole hotel smelled rather musky. The shower head in our bathroom was broken with water spilling everywhere. The area is know to be dangerous and we were told to not walk around that neighborhood. Parking lot is shared with the Bowlero bowling alley so there a lots of people hanging out by their cars. Not the best experience.

Zimmer leider sehr hellhörig, insbesondere durch die schlechten Verbindungstüren. Somit hatte ich das Vergnügen bis 2 Uhr nachts den Nachbarn zu lauschen inkl. Kindergeheule. Den Highway hört man natürlich auch. Ebenso den TV. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer und da ist es auch nachvollziehbar, wenn diese miteinander verbunden sind. Warum auch noch ein drittes Zimmer eine Verbindungstür hat, ist unerklärlich und nur Lärmfördernd. Die Zimmer etwas veraltet, Sauberkeit inkl. Bad ausreichend. Betten in Ordnung. Hotel insgesamt leicht abgewrackt. Bürostuhl im Zimmer bspw. sehr abgenutzt. Die Tür zum Badezimmer hat massiv geklemmt und lies sich immer nur mit einem kräftigen Ruck wieder öffnen. Frühstück enttäuschend: Kein Buffet. Man bekommt eine Tüte und sagt was man haben möchte. Bspw. Trockene Bagels, Joghurt, Milch aus der Tüte, Orangensaft aus dem Plastikbecher, Müsliriegel, bisschen Obst oder auch Chicken Burger zum Frühstück. Chicken teils noch gefroren, aber eine Mikrowelle steht parat. Der Kaffee schmeckt noch am besten. Insgesamt aber maximal auf Jugendherberge Niveau. Wobei hier gab es zur Schulzeit immerhin noch Wurst und Käse als Belag. Das gibt es im hier nicht. Lediglich ein bisschen Frischkäse. Taugt insgesamt maximal zum schlafen. Vorausgesetzt, dass man angenehme Nachbarn erwischt.

Bed was very confortablr. Shower was great. TV was huge! Staff was very buce and breakfast was quick and easy. Unfortunately the building was run down somewhat and there were stains on the armchair cushions, bed frame and floor. Plus there was an insect in the room that we killed, not seeing any others after.

Lo unico que no me gusto es que olia muchisimos ha humo de cigarrillo a pesar de que era una habitación libre humo. Y los del cuarto de alado se escuchaba mucho sus voces y parecian alcoholizados y fumaban mucho. Llame a recepcion para comentar lo del humo del cigarro y no tuve una llamada de regreso para decirme que ya habian tomado cartas en el asunto.

This was an enjoyable stay. I moved from the east coast back to the Palm Springs area around Easter and the COACHELLA music festival. I needed a safe, affordable and convenient place to stay while house hunting. XOLA wound up being the prfect place. My wife is a full time student and needed reliable internet and quiet conditions to take exams and do classwork. We were on a budget. We were accomodated on rverything we needed. The staff was accommodating on every request. Great experience! We wound up being there 2 weeks and finally found our perfect home to live in the Palm Springs area. Highly Recommended!

Hotel Xola is an older property that was clearly remodeled recently. Our room was clean and comfortable, and even though there was a family next door to us with children, we could not hear them through the walls. Nor could we hear traffic noise, despite proximity to the freeway and a main thoroughfare. We constantly saw the cleaning staff making their rounds and doing laundry, and we could smell the cleaning products after they had gone. The other staff was very helpful and friendly, and there was good breakfast to be had in the mornings between 6 and 9. Overall...if you need a modern hotel with all the latest amenities, you won't enjoy it here. But if you want a clean room for a good price with nice staff, this is a good place for you.
