Our room was wonderful. We had a view of the beach and ocean. The surrounding areas around the cottage were emasculate. We have booked again next year for two weeks. Wonderful property!

LOCATION is NOT everything! Our bungalo was next to dive tank storage so early morning clanking every day. Employees dont respect sleeping guests (early morning raking outside every day). Restaurant is 1.5 hour wait for food, they DO tell you that up front. A beach resort that doesnt provide beach towels? But they will sell them to you. Would not book again, but then again ROA is not a good place to snorkel via the shore so we'd never go back anyway!

We had a wonderful one-week stay at Las Rocas. The personnel were welcoming and always helpful. The location is perfectly situated between west bay and west end, walkable to both areas. It was so nice to just sit on your bungalow deck and read a book in the hammock! The food at the restaurant was great and the complementary breakfast was always good too. We truly have no complaints. They also kindly organized transportation to and from the hotel, which made our travel seamless and stress-free. We would happily recommend this place to anyone, it was a lovely stay!

Everything was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Food was amazing! For a free breakfast it was delicious! Everything made from scratch and fresh. Very impressed. The views are amazing. Water taxi right out front. The deck is amazing to sit on. But bring your bug spray or dab vanilla extract on you, works like a charm!

Compared to some of the other places we have stayed, this lacked some basic necessities like in room drinking way or towels for the beach. Overall, it was an ok stay but I wouldn’t stay there again.

We were very happy with our stay. We celebrated a birthday and the management and staff helped me with the surprise. I chose Las Rocas because of the name of the street. My grandsons name is the same as streets first word, Kai, so I chose it over all the others I researched and believe I made a perfect choice and highly recommend it for privacy. I will return.

Los Rocas is tucked away at the edge of West Bay Beach, its location makes it extremely safe with an amazing deck over looking the Ocean, a great bar/restaurant on site with extremely nice staff and amazing food cooked to order, it has its own water taxi pickup spot on their dock and west bay beach is only a 5 minute walk down a path from their location, everything you need is on site but Roa Market is a short walk down the beach for anything extra you need, it’s a perfect location that provides access to anywhere you want to go, every one we met on the island who lives and works there had nothing but positive things to say about them and the safety of their little corner of the island, we will be back

I really enjoyed the rustic charm Las Rocas offered compared to many of the fancy brick and mortar establishments on the beach. The rooms were rustic but well kept and very clean. The staff from the front desk to the grounds keepers were all friendly and attentive to there guests. The restaurant was great with a all week happy hour with great drinks and the staff were on there game. After diving with a few different dive shops on the island the Las Rocas team did a great job of catering to the guest needs and wants. They are a class act for sure.

Private beach, great staff, excellent food! This is my 4th time to Roatan, West Bay is just gorgeous and you can snorkel right off the beach. Taking a drive around the island with someone who lives there is an experience you don't want to miss, I've done it on two trips. Winson is the best guide for a private car tour of the island, and you can find him working at Las Rocas Resort and Dive Center in the onsite restaurant, Trattoria Da Puerto--a great place to stay, and the food is excellent. Ask him if he can take you to the Garifuna village in Punta Gorda, and he'll show interesting spots along the way. There is so much kindness in the local people, fascinating history and great food there at the village. The bonuses are the stops along the way and an amazing ocean view from most of the restaurants in the village. There are handcrafted items to buy that are one-of-a-kind, not mass-produced tourist junk. This is a MUST DO if you want to fully experience Roatan. The people at the Resort are great, the turquoise water is warm but refreshing, and the white sand beaches are incredible and easy to walk on barefoot. The sunsets are so gorgeous, and to me, it is the perfect place for a great beach vacation. Great diving and snorkeling! Just a three hour flight from some U.S. cities, like Dallas and Miami. The Resort offers a free shuttle to and from the airport, we each tipped $10 each way, try to always tip in cash. Use bug spray for sand fleas and mosquitoes!
