"We chose this location for the proximity to Bryson City. Stayed 3 nights to ride both trains in Bryson City. The room size met our needs and although somewhat outdated it was clean and comfortable at a reasonable rate. There is an outdoor pavilion located in the back right on the river. The only downside is the outside could use some attention with painting of doors, and outdoor furniture. There is a kennel located next door and sometimes bothered early morning with dogs barking. Overall, it met our needs."

"This is a late-1800s property in a convenient in-town location. Some deferred maintenance was seen, but it was very serviceable. Rooms were clean & good sized, but our bathroom shower was TINY. Lots of public areas to relax & enjoy the views. Owner was very helpful with recommendations for area restaurants & things to see/do. Breakfast was great, with a good mix of hot & cold items. Owner even insisted on giving us a "to-go bag" as we were leaving before breakfast started."

"We had a suite with 2 bedrooms and a living room. It was easy to check in and conveniently located close to Cades Cove. Riverside Restaurant was close by as well and had an excellent breakfast. We will definitely come back! Thank you!"

"The view was phenomenal! We arrived and were given a 2nd story room with a balcony and the view was of the Blue Ridge mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rebecca was on her way to Walmart and asked if we needed anything. My mom had previously purchased a memory card for her camera and was unable to get the package opened. Rebecca took it to Walmart with the receipt and brought it back to us with the security package removed. That is going above and beyond! We will definitely be back! Thank you!"
