Lovely B&B - our bedroom had a proper-sized TV, the central lounge was bright and tastefully furnished, the breakfast room had great bay windows and quality furniture. Doonhamer hospitality. "This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."

"Arrived for 4pm check in called two different numbers no response on either , eventually got someone and got checked in at 5 pm place was freezing and was informed that the boiler was broken so no heating or hot water, place looked like it was decorated back in the 70's and never been touched since , was told to leave out door open and they'd put a heater in room for us which thankfully we didn't as was later told that place is used to home the homeless and immigrants so both our friends and...

"Enjoyable three night break.
Friendly helpful staff.
Very comfortable bed , room cleaned every day and were allowed to park at the hotel next door.
As previously mentioned they serve a great breakfast .
Five minute drive to town centre but pub and takeaway nearby.
Will book again next time that we visit Dumfries."

"Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover."
