"The property is stunning and unique and is exactly as it appears in online photos. The food was delicious - especially the breakfast and the omelet which was amazing! The tasting was lovely, the rooms were clean, and we appreciated the espresso machines in the room. The only negatives (all minor) were that the outdoor hot tub was out of commission waiting on a part to arrive (I know these things happen but it was a bummer since we were very much looking forward to using it and our room only had...

"This entire property was beautiful and so well maintained. My parents and I enjoyed the triple room very much. The staff was very helpful, and paid a lot of attention to details, even already setting out gluten free pastries for me after I asked if they had some the day before. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed the food at the restaurant. We didn’t have a car on this trip, so we enjoyed our time at the hotel for 3 nights. I would definitely book again, and recommend this place to anyone...

"Our stay at Shalai was outstanding from start to finish. We received a warm welcome from a genuinely friendly and professional team. The hotel is set in a beautifully restored historic mansion on a quiet street, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere.
Check-in was effortless. Our online check-in was fully recognized, so there was no need to repeat the process. No credit card was requested and payment was deferred until checkout, which was a pleasant surprise.
The reception staff kindly...

"Our stay was excellent; the family were kind, attentive and welcoming. They helped us out a lot with anything we asked for. The accommodation was beautiful and immaculate and felt like a calm and peaceful haven after a day of touring. Excellent location however would recommend a car for ease of getting to the nearby towns. Beautiful breakfasts with some delicious home made sweet treats every morning.
