"They don’t tell you up front that this is a government subsidized building. The outside presents well, then the various smells hit you indoors. School bus picks up children in the parking lot. Bring ALL your own utensils to use in the “suite”. Yes it has a micro, fridge, cook top. That is it. The cabinets are bare. Vinyl floors vacuumed but not washed. Hotel it is not! Name is deceiving. P.S. No coffee pot."

" I had an early flight so I was not able to stay for breakfast. The room was clean and welcoming. I was DISAPPOINTED in the shuttle service as it only accommodates 9-5 travel. As I had an early 7 AM flight I had to find alternative travel to Concord Regional airport. I was fortunate that other early morning travelers were kind to offer me a ride. The shuttle service was the reason I chose to stay at this hotel and was NOT HAPPY with the resulting situation."

"Mattresses were stained and old, carpet smelled like wet dog, the pool was broken, the breakfast bar wasnt working, the was poorly patched drywall repair in our room. Looks like maintenace isnt kept up."

"I decided to write a review so that guest are able to make the best informed decisions. I booked our room to save money. I like to camp when traveling, but sometimes that’s not an option so we decided to save money. We can get over location, but there were some issues I that need to be addressed. Rooms are decent enough for $80. In any room the first thing I check is the cracks of the top sheet and where it tucks into the bed. NO issues, but I did notice that behind the bed against the wall was really gross. I also noticed the top sheet was inside out. (thoughts on this later). I left my phone while taking some time in the bathroom, and had no distractions. I couldnt help but look at where the wall meets the floor and it was caked with dust and hair. I did the whole TP swipe and it looked like it had not been cleaned in some time. Moving to the bed, my partner was wondering how often the comforter is washed, so we took it off only to notice many hairs, some long on the blanket underneath. This brought me back to the inside out top sheet and got me wondering if it was actually turned over between guests. Finally, preparing for bed and using a towel, I couldn’t help but notice the large stain… Look, I’m all for family run businesses and saving money is nice, but we both decided that there’s a floor to our cost saving, and we’ve met ours. That being said, if you wanna save $ you’ll be fine."

"Unfortunately there were amenities that weren't in use due to water issues in Kannapolis, so can't really rate those. I didn't like that when checking in no one asked for identification. That did make me a little uncomfortable as other hotels have always asked for my license to verify that I'm who I say I am. Other than that everything else was ok."

"We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we connected with Ganga before arriving, we knew we were in great hands. We were traveling with a school group, and she went above and beyond to guide us step-by-step through the district payment process, making everything smooth and stress-free. When we arrived, Ganga and the entire staff welcomed us like family. Their warmth, attentiveness, and positive energy truly made it feel like we were walking into a home, not just a hotel. They were incredibly accommodating to our entire team and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, after long competition days, that made a huge difference for our group. We also loved taking advantage of the pool and BBQ area. Being able to host a BBQ for our students was such a special highlight and created memorable moments for everyone. The location is perfect, close to the speedway and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and establishments, which made everything so convenient for our group. The lobby is also a huge plus, spacious, comfortable, and perfect for us to meet and work together during the five days we stayed. Convenient to use washer and dryer in laundry. We are so grateful for such an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back next year when we compete again. Highly recommend!"

"Shower was dirty. The door would move when other rooms door shut. The windows were terrible. It sounded like we were sleeping next to an interstate during rush hour. Didn't hardly sleep. "
