"A small 1 level hotel which is family run and you could definitely tell the difference. What a wonderful visit. First, I called and spoke with Steve (owner) and advised that we would be late checking in. He advised that was not a problem as I would get an email with room number and code to access the room, ice house and pantry. "Staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the boat tour of the lake. Rooms were large and comfortable. A great night's sleep. We really enjoyed sitting on the screen porch and watching the boats come and go. The decor is a bit dated. I believe they said the lakeside rooms were due to be updated in the next year. Restaurant was just so-so. We'd recc. going out to Grand Olde Station for a meal. Overall, a great stay. We plan to go back in the future."
