"I really liked the security of the property. A key card was needed to open the front door and there was a security gate that closed at 9pm and a key card was required for access to the parking area. That was worth the extra drive to Alameda in the morning. Breakfast was good. The only issue I had was I could hear people talking at night either from the shuttle pick up area or the swimming pool so if you need an early night ask for a room the other side of the property. "Good location for DT San Jose"

"I had stayed here last year and I thought it was a great place for the price. This 2nd time, every night was VERY noisy. Beyond just usual hotel sounds, there was consistent loud noises throughout the entire night. The weekend was the worst for it and the weekdays calmed down a little but there was a consistent loud sound that would keep happening throughout the night. Never found out what it was as I would leave my room after hearing it to find out, but I couldn't. There isn't a ton to walk to...

"The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is that it was clean. Staff weren’t particularly friendly and it’s an old hotel. It is also an event venue and there was a loud event we could hear most of the night. The parking is also paid and that on top of an overpriced room. There are no notable amenities and no noteworthy restaurants nearby. No complimentary breakfast. Felt nickel and dimed. Also please note that water came out at scalding temperatures at high pressure.
