The room was immaculately clean. The breakfast included healthy items such as yogurt and fresh fruit. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The location was superb--lots of restaurants nearby, near major historic sites, a few blocks from the Metro. The building that houses this B&B is old, full of Old World details, and very charming.

Overall great experience. Very clean and well maintained, breakfast was perfect every morning. Can't beat location. Suggest they add puzzles, books, or games to the common area for something to do if one has some down time.

Communication with the host was great. Right in the heart of the city close to most of the main attractions. Room was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Small markets and restaurants nearby. Nice breakfast each morning.

Lovely accomodations so close to the Colosseum and ancient Roman ruins. Many many wonderful restaurants and shops on the street. Easy to walk and get to the Metro to get around Rome. Alessandro and Eduardo are friendly hosts, and breakfast was fresh and delicious! Has good wifi. North American guests should bring a 220-110 voltage converter.

Alessio und sein Partner waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann die Unterkunft mit diesem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr empfehlen. Meinem Sohn und mir hat es hier super gefallen und man konnte die historische Altstadt sehr gut erreichen.

The beautiful apartment was located on a bustling street in the heart of the ancient city. We were in walking distance of the Colosseum, Roman forum and other sites. Transportation to other parts of the city were very easy via train and taxi. Our house were kind and very helpful at guiding us while we were there. We were very comfortable and enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning. We would recommend them highly to any future guest.

Lovely stay.

Lovely stay with friendly hosts and a great location. Slight issue with shower, we couldn't quite figure out if there was no hot water or it just took a while to heat up. Would recommend staying at this B and B!

This was our first stop in Italy. Very nice B&B. There are only 3 rooms, so there is not extra space to hang out, but we hit the ground running, so that worked for us. Very grateful that our hosts provided us with a map that was super helpful as no one in our party had been to Rome previously. The location is awesome. We were able to get around using the metro quite easily once we learned how to use it. There are two stops very close and you can get to most places. Taxis are also an option, but slower because there is so much traffic. We felt very safe walking around day or night. Avoid the restaurants down the street to the right. We ate at one our second night and although the food was not bad, the servers were all standing around talking to each other and it was very uncomfortable. At the end we had to pay cash for their ‘service fee’. Just felt cheesy. There are so many other restaurants as you walk into the neighborhoods that are a better option. The B&B is right down the street from the Colosseum and the Forum which allowed us to get there early. Getting to sites early is absolutely the key! We enjoyed our stay at this B&B and would recommend this location to anyone. It is clean, comfortable and offers a nice breakfast served by the hosts!

Delightful Stay in Rome

We had a wonderful 5-night stay in Rome at B&B 2 Passi Al Colosseo that was made special by our gracious hosts, Alessandro and Eduardo. We stayed in the Mandarin room with our son, and the accommodations were perfect for our small family. The beds were especially comfortable and room large and airy, very clean, and especially bright during the day (shades darken at night perfectly!). Even though the window overlooks a bustling street, the room is quiet and peaceful. The location was optimal - within walking distance to so many of Rome's iconic sites and to public transit that can take you where your feet cannot. All of these positives would have been enough, but then on top of that you add that the hosts are just wonderful, kind and caring people. As for the experience at a B&B, it was so lovely to chat with our hosts and get to know them during our stay, and they went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially for our child's birthday with gestures (a cake and gift) that were so very thoughtful, but also in receiving us (our flight was late) and providing a delicious breakfast each morning. Their home is a reflection of their hospitality: warm and inviting. Grazie mille!

Located in the Roman Forum area it was ideal for walking to many of the sites. Nearby restaurants were convenient and the food was authentic and delicious. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a simple and tasty breakfast each morning. We would book here again.
