"Check in time was 3 PM and I showed up at 2:45 PM. They wanted to charge me $25 just to check in 15 minutes early. I knew at that point this experience was going to go nowhere but down. There was a time many years ago when this hotel was actually a nice hotel, that is nowhere near the case in 2026. The free continental breakfast is free for a reason because it would be a crime to charge anyone to eat what they call breakfast. The room is about as basic as you can get for a hotel room. It seemed very dated and a little dingy and dirty. There are way too many options in a city as big as Fresno and when I go back, the Ramada will definitely not be where I choose to stay."

"I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was dirty upon arrival, which immediately set a negative tone for the stay. To make matters worse, the electricity went out, and despite notifying the staff, no one ever came to fix it or even follow up. At one point, we were unable to open the door, which felt both frustrating and unsafe. On top of that, there were intoxicated guests running around the hotel with beers, creating a chaotic and uncomfortable environment. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and absence of staff support made this stay unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The room was good sized, quiet and clean. Breakfast meats varied from day to day and the breakfast selection was good. This hotel has great access to highway 41 and Shaw, making it easy to get around Fresno and beyond."

"the hotel is due for a upgrade. Exterior had paint peeling in many areas. Bathroom ceiling the paint was peeling. Furniture is older and scratched. everything in the room was clean as could be. Mattress needs to be replaced. at check in one staff member had good customer service skills the other was a bit grumpy. Restraunt/bar was nice and server had good customer service skills. Food was ok. could use more of a desert menu."

"This hotel is disgusting. There were roaches coming out of the shower and sink drains. I had to move rooms at 11:30pm. There is no bathroom counter space and transits hangout in and around the parking lot. I immediately checked out the next morning, which was a day earlier than expected. I booked a hotel around the corner which was 1000% better and had parking lot security. I do not suggest staying at the SureStay by Best Western in Fresno and wish I could get my money back. "

"We picked this place for our kids (4 & 2) because the pool looked unique; the water was absolutely freezing. I understand most pools are not heated but this felt extreme compared to the last 4 we had stayed at this trip. It wasn’t just us, there were several adults and kids there complaining. And no one was staying in When we asked for towels the front desk said they could only bring down 4 due to “inventory” for everyone there. No one even brought those. Room was dirty, sheets were stained, coffee maker gross. Shower ran out of hot water after one 5 min shower. "
