If you are looking for a basic place to stay then its fine, but there is no restaurant or even vending machine. There is a restaurant next door though. Additionally there is no hotel reception from 9pm to 8am. Staff were very friendly and welcoming

I loved the pool and the landscaping around the property. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean & spacious, but very spartan - no microwave and the wifi was frequently buffering. A/C was excellent, bed comfortable and washroom well equipped. No restaurant or bar on-site, though a nice place next door, if you like to eat out meal after meal. Overall I'd recommend it, a fair piece from the main town, Roseau but walkable.

Great pool, wonderful view of the Caribbean sea. Beautifully landscaped property, staff were warm, friendly, and eager to help. Wifi is adequate except when pool/patio parties are going on and it gets overwhelmed. Room was small but adequate for a solo traveler. Roku TV was okay. Room lacks a microwave, otherwise good. Stay was enjoyable, relaxing. Hotel located in walking distance from Roseau, easy taxi or bus ride. Would recommend this hotel.

Anchorage Hotel is a great place to stay, close to Roseau. We ate breakfast next door at Ocean Edge restaurant, and we bought a few groceries at Green's Supermarket up the road as you go toward Wallhouse community. Our room had an electric tea kettle and coffee supplies and a small frig. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated having parking just off the street for our rental car.

Stayed there before but this was much better, only fault some evenings we could not use the pool as there were children having swimming lessons. I think we should be notified of the days when this is happening.

Ma fille et moi avions passer un agréable séjour . J’ai voulu faire la fille découvrir la Dominique et la nature , les cascades. L’hôtel est bien placé . Heureusement qu’il y avait un restaurant à côté Nous avions pu prendre le petit déjeuné le dîner et le soupe . Le personnel est très gentille.

Not that many rooms, no breakfast o dinner, but one very nice restaurant close by. Nice staff, good pool. They also washed our clothes to satesfaction.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely nice and made me feel very welcome throughout my visit. The view from the property is absolutely awesome — especially during sunset. Watching the sun go down from my room (or the hotel balcony) was truly unforgettable. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

Appears doing renovation so that you have hurricane and purchase. Nice pool right on the water. And the staff was super great. Love having sounds of the ocean waves while I was sleeping

We went in the off season and had the place to ourselves so it was pretty peaceful. But because of the off season there were several restaurants closed during our stay making different food choices limited.

Parking was ample; ocean view was great, but the room was sub-par. It was clean, but the floor molding had been removed, which made the room look really old; No shampoo/conditioner was provided and no hair dryer. Front staff, when present, was friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff was on top of things. Pool was nice and a good temperature, but they allowed children's swimming lessons there 2-3 days while we were there, so that put a damper on the experience. No restaurant on site, but a good one was next door at an affiliated property.

What made our Dominican stay was the people. We cried when we left. We will definitely stay again and considering that they are still recovering from Hurricane Maria… they have come a long way! It’s not fancy but it’s a good place to stay. The staff were gracious and wonderful!
