"Old building that could really use a remodel. I've stayed in many hotels in the loop and somehow the sound from outside penetrated much more than most. The doormen were excellent though. They were very helpful and nice."
"The hotel was clean and the rooms were decent. Did like the fact. I didn't like the fact there is no mirrors in the whole room except for the one in the bathroom. Also for the price that they charge I feel they should have had daily housekeeping but it was only offered after a 3-day stay. I asked for lotion on the first day by the time I checked out I never received it. The first evening I go to take a shower there's no body wash in the dispenser. If you didn't pay extra for their special inclusion package their breakfast buffet was $35 per person which I think was way too high for what they provided. I asked the front desk with help for sightseeing and cab service and they couldn't help me with either one. I will not stay there again."
"Hotel in good location - not far from Union Station or Downtown. Staff l interacted with were really welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean and great that there was a microwave on the floor near the elevator (handy when we took too long with our pizza slices from Whole Foods!)
Breakfast served in the downstairs restaurant was great with plenty of options available and a rare (in USA anyway) late finish time for breakfast which meant l could have a lay in and eat at our leisure. If l was in Chicago again l wouldn't hesitate to return"

"What a scam for $350+ a night. Our first room was disgusting; it looked like there was crusty throw up on the carpet and the bathroom was not clean and there was dust everywhere. You don’t even get a microwave in your room. The bathroom is so small. The furniture in the room is so dated and stained. Called the front desk for another pillow and they yelled at me and then hung up, and never brought the pillow. When I called back they’d pick up and hang up. Not a good hotel, way overpriced, understaffed (I felt bad for the employees it’s not their fault), and just not a good experience overall."
