"Great centrally located hotel with clean rooms and a helpful staff. Surrounded by a variety of restaurants and with grocery stores right down the road. From this hotel, it was easy to access downtown Brevard as well as the nearby natural attractions, Pisgah National Forest, waterfalls, etc. Cant wait to come back. Definitely would stay here on my next visit."

"La limpieza en los cuartos me encantó, viajé con dos niñas pequeñas 2 y 3 años y es inevitable no hacer basura y la limpieza al cuarto se hizo sin necesidad de estarla pidiendo mi estancia fue por tres días y me encantó lo recomiendo el personal muy amable, y un punto extra más es que no me cobraron por hacer check-in adelantado que normalmente siempre pago pero en este hotel no, eso se agradece!!"

"Stayed here for one night after hiking Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Falls trail. Great location close to Cashiers where we saw 4th of July fireworks. Room was comfy and clean! Excellent air conditioning! They cooked made to order eggs and bacon and had assorted muffins, bagels, breads, and fruit. Chatted with the owner Julie at breakfast-super friendly! Don’t hesitate to stay here!"

"A small 1 level hotel which is family run and you could definitely tell the difference. What a wonderful visit. First, I called and spoke with Steve (owner) and advised that we would be late checking in. He advised that was not a problem as I would get an email with room number and code to access the room, ice house and pantry. Loved checking in this way and being able to leave the room without worrying that I had my key ( have had to get duplicates more than once). The room was modern and...

"Staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the boat tour of the lake. Rooms were large and comfortable. A great night's sleep. We really enjoyed sitting on the screen porch and watching the boats come and go. The decor is a bit dated. I believe they said the lakeside rooms were due to be updated in the next year. Restaurant was just so-so. We'd recc. going out to Grand Olde Station for a meal. Overall, a great stay. We plan to go back in the future."

"Nowhere on their website did they mention the lake had no water. They were also doing repairs so the walls had exposed wires. The bathrooms are reminiscent of a hospital bathroom. The rooms are poorly lit with no tv. Lots of history in the buildings just very dated rooms. The breakfast was really great."

"The lodge was a bit older and rustic but the owners are very nice and aim to make you comfortable. Easy check in and great breakfast!"

"Property was clean. It was well stocked. Kitchen was very nice. The bathroom was spacious, clean nicely laid out. Did not like that they charge you or Matthew 20 something dollars a day for men that you have right out of the property whether you use it or not they automatically charge you for every night you stay which is not just justifiable. It is better to charge you if you use the amenity as soon as you go in since you have to drive to the location, they can charge you an interest rate...

"What a find! This was a beautiful home nestled in the woods with lots of amenities, ping pong , foosball, board games, hot tub, fire pit, gardens, creek, big enclosed deck, and much more. We were so comfortable that we only left once to go to the fireworks show in Canton during our six day stay. We can’t wait to go back. Thanks Conny for sharing your wonderful home!!!"
