Arawa Park Hotel
Manky hotel needing a serious upgrade! Got ‘upgraded’ to a room that overlooked a pile of weeds instead of the race course. Shower was mouldy & the bath out on the veranda is very odd. Never trust the photos online.

Regal Palms Resort
Good stay overall, mini golf, ping pong and tennis. Room was tidy, just one issue with microwave starting, was bit old. Pool was heated, not hot, expected a bit higher for rotorua, recomend a few more degrees to make comfortable on the cold days but fine for exercise.

This place was ok for us to stay for a couple of nights. The bed and towels were clean and comfortable but the place was rundown and old. The carpet in the room was stained and not fresh looking. The kitchen was ok for our needs and it was in a convenient location for where we wanted to visit but ...

STAY280 & STAY284 Rotorua
The room itself was nice and clean however there were ants all in the bathroom. The spa pool was lovely in big however it didn’t work when trying to turn it on. The staff were nice and friendly and very welcoming. Had a great touch with the coffee machine within the room itself.
