"really nice room. Received notice before we arrived that the room we booked would have been noisy. Staff accommodated our wishes and glad they did as room was great in the boutique hotel but the main hotel was REALLY loud and packed. So busy we decided not to eat there as too loud and busy, Other than that the rest of the hotel was excellent"

"This is the fourth time I have stayed at the Royal.
As a solo traveller (on this occasion), I felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel and local area and all of the staff members I encountered were pleasant and helpful.
I was allocated an accessible room (not requested) which was spacious and clean with a large wet room style bathroom. The water pooled on the floor following a shower but it was carefully dried by cleaning staff members on a daily basis and towels were in plentiful...

"I only spent one night here, but it wasn't my first time. Overall was great. Good location for my event at Liberty Hall. Also, close to a supermarket and lots of food options.
The room was large and spacious, over two levels. They lock the rooms that are not needed, no issue with that here, but maybe lock the top room and have the bottom room open where you feel you can utilise the space offered.
There was also grinding happening somewhere in the building in the morning, which can be heard...

"Great location. Great property. The only thing thats missing is probably bottled water. Tap water is drinkable but will be good to at least have complimentary 2 bottles a day. There is a main supermarket across the street so it was no problem at all. Aircon not the strongest at times but we managed. "

"The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen.
The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around.
I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed.
Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place.
