Rovinj as a city is a unique experience that everyone should do at least once and Hey Rovinj was a great place as a home base. We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect. Beautiful view from the loft room we rented and the central location in the old town made it easy to explore and get to the beach. The apartment manager was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely items stay there again... and yes Rovinj is worth a second trip!

O quarto é muito bom, bonito e bom espaço. O acesso da hospedagem com malas é um pouco ruim devido ao tipo de pavimentação no entorno que inviabiliza usar as malas com rodinhas. Como pegamos tempo chuvoso, ficamos um tempo maior dentro do quarto. E tem pouquissimos canais na TV e todos em alemão. E sem netflix. Ou youtube.

Even though reception and check-in style was simple, location and quality of the room was excellent. Actually we had trouble for the room key (accidentally I left the keys in the room), but the owner kindly helped us soon.

Truly excellent - I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that haven’t been this clean Great location, great communication beforehand, super clean, had everything you need and more if you decide to eat at home Owner Dairni is super helpful and can provide maps, info and maps Highly recommend - despite the distance from our home in New Zealand the hope is we will be back very soon!

It was unique in that it was actually located in Old Town. Since there was no parking in Old Town I had to park a 10 minutes walk away, which I knew and expected, but the directions to the apartment were unclear and it took me a very long time to find it.

Beautiful and simple studio apartments for travel

A clean and well-kept complex. We had the top studio apartment and it more than met our needs for a five-night stay. Beautiful view from the unit and timely communication from the owner. Be prepared to climb stairs inside and outside but that's the old town area and the staircase inside this complex is modern. Lots of restaurants and shops around and the complex looks over one of the most popular beach areas.

Great stay in a convenient location within the old town! The owner was very helpful and responsive to issues on site (internet wasn't working when we arrived, he was able to drop by the same day to help sort it out). He also help set us up with transportation to parking and with very helpful directions for parking and check in!

Located in the city centre, this made for easy access to the unique features of this old city. Parking was available just outside the city centre walls which required a 10 minute walk to/from the apt. It was not difficult but may not suit others. Apt was cosy, clean and of good value. Enjoyed the stay.

We had an apartment with sea view on the to floor of the building. Comfortable bed, big bathroom, good shower, and we could open the window to get sea air. Good and helpful host of you use WhatsApp to communicate. He met us at a roundabout to lead us right to the apartment and that is very important in this town of tiny winding passages.

This was not a good experience. I've stayed in hotels in 60 different countries and this place had the worst Wi-Fi I've ever used. During the three days I was there Wi-Fi only worked for a few hours the rest of the time it either crashed constantly or simply would not connect. The pillows are hard and thick and so uncomfortable I had to use some of my clothing plus a towel to make my own pillow. The shower does not even have a shelf to put anything on. There is no shower pan just the laminate flooring so I basically had to do a Navy style shower of getting wet, turning off the water soaping up and then rinsing myself off. Not something you really want to do when you're on holiday. The so-called sea view is partially blocked by TV antennas and satellite dishes so it's not a very nice view. The window shutters were between difficult and impossible to close unless you have extremely long arms or willing to take the risk of falling out of the window. The tiny kitchen area had so little counter space there was barely enough room for the small cutting board and no space to put any extra food that you did not want to put in the refrigerator. I would definitely not stay here again

A Great Place in Rovinj

The communication from the Hey Rovinj staff was excellent. We were given clear instructions on where to find the off-site parking. The walk from that lot is a bit of a trek over rough stone walkways so don’t bring a big suitcase. As well, we were up on the top floor under the roof, so there wasn’t a lot of headspace on the edges of the room. The room was very clean and had a lovely view over the water. It was well appointed and very comfortable. We were given recommendations for restaurants, gelato places and more. It was a great place to stay because once we got there from the car, it was in a good location to access the sights.

Great apartment for a short stay

We stayed at Hey Rovinj for two nights in September. The accommodation is nice but be warned because it is in the Old Town area cars are not allowed and there are a lot of stairs and cobbled streets! Our room was on the top floor with a view out over the sea (luckily we don't mind stairs!). The room was quiet and had everything we needed for our stay. My only problem was the pillows on the bed, they were really really hard. Hey Rovinj offer you parking at a great rate which is about a 15-20 minute walk away from the apartment. The communication was great throughout. Be careful when you book though, we knew about needing to pay the city tax but were also asked to pay a cleaning fee which was never mentioned. We can highly recommend the restaurant Graciano. A slightly odd location in a car park but the food is amazing. It was the best meal we had during our whole trip in Croatia.
