However, my check‑in was delayed because Hotels.com sent the hotel incorrect details for my booking — specifically, the wrong first name. As a result, the staff had to spend time verifying that the reservation was actually mine. Everything else on the booking was accurate except for the first name. I’m not sure how this happened, especially since I’ve used Hotels.com to book this same hotel several times without any issues. It would be helpful if this could be looked into to prevent similar delays in the future."

"The reservation was made by my employer. Upon arrival at the hotel I approached the reception to register. The receptionist asked for ID. This was provided. Unfortunatly the passposrt was out of date. Becasue of this my booking was not accepted. "

"Breakfast was good, pizza was good, staff were great, but, My car was trashed by pigeons after I parked under one of the many trees, it took me an hour to clean it all off before and after my travels. the room was tiny you couldn't walk past the end of the bed to draw the curtains as it was only just shy or the wall and the TV was in the way. Also the bed was not a double it was 4 foot, it is a good job I was on my own and not with my partner."

"Absolute hole in the ground! I'd never stay again. I booked two nights, and gave up after the first night. Nobody at reception to talk to when I left in the morning. The bed base might looked like it had been made with pallets, and the mattress was just as uncomfortable. The window handle was broken, so couldn't be secured. The room was dirty and tired. Avoid like the plague, unless you want the plague!"

"This is a pub hotel and meet all our needs. Room was quiet and bed nice. Overall the room was dated and well used but for a pub hotel and price it was great. The pub itself is nice and has good food with a discount for hotel guests."
