"We have just spent two nights at the lovely Harbor Inn on Ocracoke Island. We stayed in a Standard room (1st Floor Harborfront King with a private deck). The room was great. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. There was also a little kitchen area with a fridge, a microwave and coffee making facilities. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck reading and watching the harbour views. Breakfast was included in the room rate and is served in the building opposite that houses the hotel reception. This was a help yourself continental style and a good way to start the day with some fresh fruit, coffee and a bagel. You could hire bikes or golf carts from the hotel but we didn’t use this facility as we enjoyed strolling around and exploring on foot. The hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful. They went over and beyond contacting us after our stay and helping us as we left some items in our room. (Unfortunately we were already on the ferry leaving the island when they messaged us). They kindly arranged for our items to be posted - thank you! We had a memorable stay on Ocracoke and would highly recommend the Harbor Inn. "

"The property is gorgeous, as was the room. The staff was very attentive. We kept our car in valet parking during our weekend stay- We could have it retrieved for us via our phone so that it was always ready when we wanted it. We wrongfully assumed that the bar would be quiet on Sat night, but there was live music that was very enjoyable and not so loud that we couldn’t talk to each other. It was perfect. Then we had Sunday brunch which was phenomenal. We highly recommend The Beaufort Hotel and cannot say enough good things about it."
