"We stayed here for a second visit to King’s Dominion and overall had a pleasant experience.
We arrived before the 4:00 p.m. check-in time, but since no rooms were available yet, we came back later to check in. The front desk staff was friendly and kind throughout the process.
Our room with two queen beds was perfect for our family of four with two young children. The room was clean, and the beds were neat and comfortable. There were several power outlets throughout the room, although we did notice there were no USB charging ports. The bathroom was also very clean, including the mirror. The only minor inconvenience was that the tissue holder was a bit far from the toilet, making it difficult for our little kids to reach.
One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its proximity to King’s Dominion. It was very convenient for our trip. The hotel also has an indoor pool, but unfortunately we didn’t use it because it appeared to need cleaning.
The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a nice variety of options, including scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, bananas, apples, yogurt, juices, and a separate coffee station.
What truly made our stay memorable was the wonderful lady who managed the breakfast area. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and constantly making sure the food stations were clean and well stocked. She even gave our kid stickers.
Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would consider staying here again."
