"I stayed for 4 nights on a business/tourism trip and was quite happy with the experience. The room was clean and cosy; the location of the house could not be better- a 5-minute walk from the center; the nearby restaurant served great meals (not included in the room price). The owner was more than helpful and was easy to reach for any requests. The only thing that one could wish for - a microwave in the kitchenette."

"Room was impeccable. Very close to everything. Staff very helpful and communication was exceptional."

"No view! I had asked for an upstairs room. My room was below ground entrance level so no view. The terrace (for which i paid extra) was poorly maintained. There were 3 seats but no cushions. I asked for cushions and was told none were available. Ordered but not yet arrived was not good enough when the selling point was the terrace. The apartment was clean and spacious. While the medevac helicopters were noisy, they only arrived a couple of times per day so weren't a problem. A lot of mosquitoes...

"The self check-in instructions provided by the staff were clear and very easy to follow. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is excellent - you can walk to the center of the old town in about 7 minutes. There is a parking lot just up the street from the building (less than 2 minutes walk). It is very busy, but if you can find a spot the rates are very cheap (I paid about 5 euros for a 3 day stay)."

"Clean, well maintained room. Good location"

"Always a pleasure to return to Villa Lucica. Valentina is a wonderful host."

"Had everything we needed, (bed/ac/bathroom) but was very small and no common area at all. However we loved the location. It was a 1 min walk to the Riva and situated around some delicious restaurants."

"We stayed for 4 nights and have nothing but compliments...Great location, close to old town with less than 10 min walk. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet had great choices. I would recommend this place."

"The hotel was very nice, very clean, beautiful views, close to everything, perfect spot and decent price. It was hard to locate at the beginning because it kids just looks like an old building, but inside is beautiful and modern. The staff was very nice and helpful"

"Overall the room is clean and well situated. It is just outside of the old town and close to the bus station (less than 10 mins walk). The staff is very helpful and helped clean the room during my stay. Just a note that the room is close to the street so it would be a little noisy when the cars are running outside until super late at night. Also just FYI given that this is an old building i guess it has some smell in the bathroom, which the staff came to clean a bit more during the stay. I...

"Cozy cottage: The small cottage had good air conditioning and amenities. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well and reliably. The bathroom was small but clean. The kitchen had a hot plate, microwave and small refrigerator. There was a closet and a nice tv that we used with our Roku firestick. The terrace was awesome and a large umbrella was available for shade. The location was outstanding with quick access to food markets, old town, city and intercity buses, Tour buses, trains and...

"Good place in split to stay close by everything, the staff nice and helpful. However there is no elevator just be mind full the apartment is on the 3rd floor"

"Fantastic place to stay! Central location, lovely place and the owner was amazing!"

"Great location, just outside the old city walls. Convenient location to the port for ferry access. Room is well maintained"
