"We thought the location of the hotel was great as we were coming from the airport. Just take the air train to Jamaica station and go down the escalator to Sutphin Blvd. Turn left and it’s just a couple blocks away. Some reviews said it is in a sketchy area, but if you’re not from New York, you may think that. The area has everything you could want, pharmacies, target, Walmart, great little places with buffets with breakfast items, and lunch items. The hotel breakfast was OK, but it was much better just to go outside of the hotel and get something nearby. The rooms are really clean and they look like they’ve been renovated, and the bed and pillows were very comfy. Everything was very clean. Would definitely stay again as it was fairly reasonable near the airport and easy to get to."

"The hotel itself was very good. The room was clean, housekeeping did a great job every day, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. All of the staff members I interacted with were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The biggest downside is the noise. The hotel is very close to the subway, which is convenient for transportation, but the train noise is constant and quite loud. I could also hear airplanes overhead and traffic from the street outside. The windows do not provide much sound insulation, so light sleepers may have difficulty getting a good night’s sleep. Another concern is the surrounding neighborhood. While I did not experience any problems personally, the area did not feel particularly safe, especially at night. Overall, the hotel offers clean rooms, good service, and a great breakfast, but the noise level and the surrounding area may be important considerations for some travelers."
