"So glad we found the Nightshade Inn and Gardens. We just needed a place to stay for one night. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the snacks in our room, fresh fruit, and pastries for breakfast. Morning coffee was very good."

It was moreso the shower had grime in the corners and the hand soap was one pump away from empty also no bags for the trash cans. We did ask the front desk and they were helpful!"

"The sink did not drain well so the bathroom smelled sour; there was mildew on the shower curtain which made me feel the bathroom was not clean. The AC was very loud and woke me up during the night. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They were busy cleaning when I checked out so didn’t get to discuss the sink."

The front desk associate came across as dismissive, particularly when she realized our reservation had been booked through a third-party service. The way she requested an alternative form of payment felt rude and unwelcoming. Additionally, when we got to our room, there was no shower soap in the bathroom. "Room was not clean and there was someone else’s hair all over the bathroom door and shower. Could not walk barefoot as the floor made our feet dirty! "

"The room smelled like someone's basement. Severely dated rooms with furniture and linens of a 1980's vibe. Air conditioner was good, water pressure in the shower was decent, only interacted with the staff once and no issues. I will likely look to stay somewhere else if I'm in the area"
