"Pine Hill Eco Lodge is in an excellent location but it’s up a rather steep hill so it’s best to take a Grab car when out shopping. The two room cabin is wonderful BUT the stairs to each bed room are VERY Steep so please consider a different room if you have issues with stairs. The front staff were amazing and helped us with tickets and even ordering a birthday cake. "We really enjoyed staying at Stella De Boutique hotel. The location is great and walkable to lots of restaurants. The breakfast is good and their pho is even better than the pho you eat at the pho restaurant in Sapa. Every room is spacious with 2 queens that can easily fit up to 4 people."

"I arrived early in the morning off of the sleeper train from Hanoi. They let me drop my bags in one of the shared areas of the property and then let me check into my room early. My room was great, it was the perfect size with a great view of the mountains. The shower was nice and hot…perfect for coming home from the cold rainy weather. "None of the listed amenities actually exist. No pool. No spa. Horrible location way out on the edge of town. On the positive side, the girl at the front desk was very helpful. She helped me get a train ticket out of Lao Cai. I was going to stay three nights but left after one. Also the bed was nice and comfortable after a few weeks of hard traveling. Oh, and there was supposed to be a free breakfast but there was no cook so it consisted of a cup of really bad cold coffee. Unless you just...
