Punta Borinquen Resort

"The hotel appeared to feel safe and the room was clean. There were many teens in the hotel possible were there for an event. The pool closes early so were not able to enjoy the pool after 8pm. There was a restaurant at the hotel, and we could also go to the Marriott to use the amenities there, but we did not have time to do that either. The staff was nice overall and helpful except for a waitress with long hair at the restaurant that did not acknowledge that we were standing waiting to be served for over 15 minutes to order coffee and she took an order from a man that walked up to her which she apparently knew as they had a conversation about work and we were waiting before him. We ended up leaving and not ordering. The experience at this hotel as good. They did have a washer and dryer that I used. Parking is available but not always as close as you would like. The temperature of the water was not to my liking as I am used to having hotter water. Overall, my experience was good. The living room area did get moist on the floor due to the AC unit not sure why??"

"La habitación tenía un fuerte olor a humedad, encontré cucaracha, mucha caca de changos en el balcón y sillas. El coso de la ducha se rompió y tuve que ir a recepción para que lo arreglaran. Demasiados majen en la piscina. Tuve que pedir las toallas de la habitación pq no estaban completas Realmente fue una experiencia mala no me vuelvo a quedar la compensación fue salir 1 hora más tarde del hotel."

"We had a wonderful time at the Oasis hotel. Getting there can be a little rough with all the curves and narrow roads. Our check in was wonderful, the staff were very attentive and we received all the information we needed. Once in the room the AC worked well and the room had everything we needed. The pool is well maintained and we enjoy it very much. We didn’t get to dine at the restaurant on site but it looked very nice from the outside. The only 2 negatives during our stay was the fact that my husband saw a cockroach when he turned on the bathroom light in the middle of the night. The second was the upstairs guests were very loud and sounded like they were moving furniture all night, it made it hard to sleep."
