"We only stay one night but the hotel was very clean and the room smelt great when we walked in. Very clean and the staff were great. Kaitlyn at the Bar One was a fantastic server and all the staff at Denny’s were super attentive. A very nice overall experience. Would highly recommend."

"We rented a room with a king bed and when we checked in there was no guest chair. Only the desk chair. It took until the next afternoon to get a second chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed for a day. It seemed to me that front desk staff was in no hurry to correct the situation. Breakfast was good and parking was available at all times."

"We stayed in a 4‑bedroom, 2‑bathroom dorm unit at Mount Saint Vincent. It was spacious, clean, and a decent price for what you got. Each bedroom was basic but comfortable, and having two bathrooms made mornings much easier. The location is a bit outside downtown Halifax (about 15‑20 minutes by car), so plan for that if you don't have a vehicle. Parking was fine. Overall, a solid budget option for a group or family. Not fancy, but good value."

"Staff were friendly but, mold growing out of the backsplash to countertop connection on the vanity ( housekeeping likely could have used a sharp object to clean this easily ), Table on the way in was broken ( at that it’s an easy fix ). Windows aren’t sealing well because the *repaceable* latches were all smashed, This accentuates the highway noise. Clearly maintaining the property is not priority. "Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy. There is no staff per-se and check in is all digital. Easy to navigate and well communicated. There is, at the time of this review, no long term parking on the street.
