Great

Room was quiet, beds really comfy and had a great night's sleep. Owner friendly and chatty (his English was very good!). We were on a motorcycle and had no issues parking, plenty of space all hard standing and safe. Evening meal was good and hearty, and we could sit outside where there is a really lovely garden. Plenty for breakfast - bread rolls, meats, cheeses and home made jams. We were just stopping off for one night, but overall a great stay!

Trevligt guesthouse nära flygplatsen. Mycket trevlig, och tillmötesgående personal, som till och med erbjöd skjuts till järnvägsstationen, om vi tyckte det var krångligt att ta morgonbussen. Rummen vsr bra och både Jägerschnitzeln och frukosten var till full belåtenhet! Vi åt en god middag innan det var dags

Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch der späte Checkin war nach Rücksprache möglich. Frühstück sehr gut, keine Aufbackbrötchen. Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig. Bett und Matratze ideal zum ausschlafen. Immer wieder gerne.

Net als 2 weken geleden was onze ervaring prima. Ondanks dat het voor het Gasthof een rustdag was ging het inchecken zonder problemen. De kamer was compleet en schoon.

2 Nächte vor Abflug–idyllisch, aber mit Schwächen

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Gasthof Waldesruh in Saerbeck verbracht – ideal gelegen mitten im Grünen, ruhig und direkt an Radwegen. Der Flughafen Münster/Osnabrück ist nur 4 Autominuten entfernt. Praktisch: Wir konnten unser Auto kostenlos stehen lassen. Das Zimmer war jedoch enttäuschend: stark in die Jahre gekommen, sehr warm (28 °C) ohne Ventilator oder Klimaanlage und ohne jegliche Hygieneartikel wie Seife oder Shampoo. Pluspunkt: Fliegengitter an den Fenstern. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ein Highlight – sehr gutes, saisonales Essen und ein aufmerksamer Service. Die Preise sind allerdings im gehobenen Bereich, was nicht ganz zum Zimmerstandard passt. Auf Nachfrage bot uns der Eigentümer an, unsere Wäsche zu waschen. Leider blieb sie nach über 5 Stunden feucht, und wir mussten sie nachts im heißen Zimmer aufhängen – stressig statt hilfreich. Fluglärm war bis 1 Uhr zu hören. Auch der laute, lange nachlaufende Badlüfter (55 dB) störte zusätzlich. Das Frühstück wurde extra früh für uns vorbereitet und war wirklich gut. Ein Flughafenshuttle wird nicht angeboten – die Organisation bleibt dem Gast überlassen. Fazit: Schöne Lage, gutes Essen und praktischer Parkplatzservice. Wer Komfort, Basisausstattung und Services erwartet, sollte sich auf Abstriche einstellen. Für eine kurze Vorübernachtung dennoch geeignet.

Dejligt ophold på Gasthof Waldesruh

Rigtig god service fra personalet, der los os checke ind en time efter at receptionen var lukket. Morgenmaden var dejlig, og der var dækket op til vores datter på 2 år med bolle og juice i et passende lille glas. Vi følte os rigtig godt taget imod. Klar anbefaling!

Zimmer ist ausreichend groß, jedoch sehr schlicht gehalten. Das Bett ist leider nicht für langgewachsene Menschen. Das Bad ist komfortabel und sauber. Bereits im Vorfeld bat ich ein Lunchpaket zu erhalten. Dies wurde übersehen, so dass wir am nächsten Tag, da wir früher abreisen mussten, auch nichts vom Frühstück hatten. Der Preis spiegelt die Leistung nicht annähernd wieder.

Wir mussten eine günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit finden und wurden positiv wirklich sehr überrascht! Tolles Essensangebot, unglaublich netter Gastwirt und sehr saubere Räumlichkeiten. Der Wasserhahn im Bad hatte allerdings das wasser immer "raus gespuckt" und das wasser war eher kalkhaltig. Ansonsten wirklich empfehlenswert!
