"Everyone at Casa Donceles was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was also very clean and larger than we expected. Not to mention it is a very short walk to some of the best historic sites in the city. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to CDMX. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was really clean, the staff was very helpful and responsive. The aesthetics were top notch. You can tell everything was carefully thought out. The only thing we were not too fond of was the food. The view on the rooftop was so beautiful however so it made up for it . Def would recommend staying here "

"This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally."

"clean room, easy building to get in and out of, staff provided water and coffee. room size was perfect. had an excellent stay only thing is ac did not work the best but overall satisfied with my stay"

"Breakfast was lovely, and the view from the salon very interesting. Room was ample, although it didn’t have the extra bed the title suggested. Staff was attentive, but they missed a couple of minor things. Would stay again, though."

"Todo estuvo excelente, un poco oscura la habitación, creo le falta un poco más de luz, pero todo estuvo estupendo."

"Everything was perfect until we check out and they said they were checking our room before checking out. The staff member came back with a bathroom towel and gave it to the receptionist and she ask what was in the towel it was kind of brown so I said dirt maybe we were out on trips all five day we were there. It felt weird that they went thru the towels. It made me very uncomfortable to have to explain what it could be."

"Our stay at the Umbral was excellent. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. The amenities were top-tier, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was outstanding and very convenient. The only minor criticism would be the scent used in the main lobby. It was a pleasant fragrance, but a bit overpowering at times. That said, it certainly wasn’t enough to affect our overall experience or rating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return."
