The rooms are cozy and clean. Make sure you don’t miss out on the delicious breakfast. Enjoy the included coffee and snacks on your way out to your daily tours. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Jose Luis who can be found at the entrance, always offering a friendly smile and warm greeting upon entering the hotel. He was incredibly helpful in getting a really quick transportation service to the airport when I was stuck waiting for my second uber attempt after the first cancelled due to unexpected street closures. Jose Luis stepped in and got us a taxi within 5 minutes ensuring we made it to our flight on time. Thank you Jose Luis and the staff at Hotel Zocalo Central. 100% recommended.

We stayed 5 nights and its worth the extra expense to stay in a suite overlooking the Zocalo square. The breakfast is stunning ,amazing fresh fruit and great special dishes that are prepared individually. The hotel is a place of calm and harmony after the chaos of the busy streets. The free snack bar is amazing and does great sandwiches, pizza etc. Free beer but unfortunately you have to pay for the wine! Stand out staff member Josue went the extra mile when we had an issue with our room. Alondra and Daniela were great on the snack bar and very efficient. Just something to note some of the rooms look out on an internal area so quite dark and no view. Overall a super hotel and the reception area is beautiful.

The roof top restaurant is amazing. Their tasting menu is on the verge of becoming Michelin star rated. A truly Mexican inspired tasting menu that explores indigenous roots. The hotel was built in the 17th century and is absolutely gorgeous. The complimentary buffet breakfast, 24 hour café with free food/beer and the historical zone tour are excellent amenities! My only complaint is the internet upload speeds could be much better. But otherwise will definitely stay here again when visiting Mexico City. It’s perfectly centrally located and ubers are extremely affordable to get around the city. For example; a 45 min uber ride only cost me £8. FYI traffic is horrible here. But this is a metropolitan city, it’s expected.

Great location close to museums and lots of restaurants. Only thing is lots of events happen at the zocalo and affect traffic in and out of the area. So between noon and 6pm don’t try to leave or come back.

Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and attentive, they understood exactly what we wanted and made it happen seamlessly. From restaurants to tours and shows, every detail was handled flawlessly. A huge thank you to Vianney, Fernanda, and Roberto. Your warmth and professionalism elevated the entire experience. The historic district is phenomenal, rich, vibrant, and full of life, with incredible food, history, and shopping at every turn. The hotel location could not be better. Step outside and you are in the heart of it all. The property is spotless, comfortable, and consistently delivers excellent service. The rooftop offers breathtaking views. The café downstairs is a highlight, with great espresso, snacks, and a standout breakfast with excellent breads and local specialties, available around the clock and largely complimentary. Small touches like the apple basket add charm. Rooms are spacious, with good AC, very comfortable beds, and well designed bathrooms. All in all, a brilliant stay, relaxed, well run, and full of character!

Im so disappointed since I never got my wine bottle . I asked as soon as check in and the guy from the front desk promised me the bottle work be arrive by the end of the day but I never received it . I’ll double check before I booked with this hotel again . Im not happy at all with that action
