"Our room was up in the attic & extremely small with a tiny window. I complained & was given a slightly larger room with a bigger window. The bed was small which my partner & I found quite uncomfortable."

"Spacious, light room. No aircon, although a tower fan was provided free of charge. Small table top in-room fridge was an extra (minimal) charge per night though. Modern bathroom, shower looked great but shower tray bowed a little underfoot and wasn't the biggest space to shower in. Staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room was spacious with views out to the sea. Breakfast was delicious."

"This hotel is a good quality place to stay. Staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was wide ranging, although they only display a limited range of milk. Bedroom was ok, nicely decorated but felt a bit old fashioned. The bed was not the most comfortable. There were limited plug sockets and no USB charging ports."

"Big spacious hotel with good amenities, great breakfast choices and friendly staff. Loved the free use of the spa facilities during our stay. The room furniture is dated and with no room aircon so it can get hot at night but that’s the only criticism."

"Amazing gardens and hanging baskets riot of colour. Variety of room levels involve many steps. Situation on very steep hill makes access exhausting in current hot weather."

"A one night stay prior to flight - excellent airport location. Sizeable heated o/d pool with adult only sessions. Good sized room with large bathroom including large walk in shower. An early start necessitated a continental room breakfast - a sizeable feast, better than many in house breakfasts!"

"Friendly and helpful staff - complimenrary drink on arrival as oyr room wasnt ready. Batteries refreshed in room heating/cooling fan remote handset when requested. Delicious breakfast but we found dining in the conservatory quite cramped and invasive. Our room was a quirky shape, the TV was tiny. Bathroom was ckean and modern except for the ill fitting shower head and very narrow bath. Lovely outside patio area."

"Great boutique hotel, staff extremely friendly, great room, superb location (just don't bring the Daimler over, car park a tad small), great for walking around St Peter Port. I couldn't fault anything during our stay."

"The hotel staff went out of their way to hep all guests with any hotel and external issues. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas both private and public. I have stayed here twice now and will be going back later this year, I would recommend this hotel without a second thought"

"Easy to get around. Lots of parking. Staff friendly. Building dated but clean and had an issue with knocking pipes when anyone flushed to loo!"

"The room and en-suite were lovely - beautifully appointed and very quiet. Just what we needed. The staff went out of their way to help. There are three car parks and we had no trouble parking. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of food for every taste. There are three restaurants, The Ocean, The Steak House and Buho (serving Mexican food). Sadly, The Ocean was only open one night during our four night stay as the fish dishes there were excellent. Seemed such a shame as Guernsey is...

"Lovely bright room with separate table and chairs so we could eat in sometimes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked. Location of hotel was perfect."
