"it actually was a great surprice when we entered the 250 Year old House. in each detail you feel that the owners are artists in Paintings and design. Bathroom are modern mixed with tradition. "Friendly lady, great location, large rooms but very dated. Bathroom no shower and very elderly suite remembered from visits over 20 years ago!! Grout on walls and floor had mould on them. No WiFi as advertised and apparently no one had a password! TV failed to work for one day. Breakfast (13 euro) ok "

"We brought our grandson to see the Normandy beaches and this B&B was so convenient to all of them. Caroline the host is outstanding and she goes out of her way to make your stay excellent. "Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"I would definitely stay here again, it was such a great location to catch the ferry from Cherbourg and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked in quite late, around 7pm, parking and taking my dog were no problem, it was all so easy and in an incredibly impressive historical building. There is a restaurant in the hotel which we didn’t try and also quite a few other places to eat within the town. It felt very safe and quiet. "
