"The location in the Saint Paul area of the historic old town in Lyon was terrific. We had a room on the 6th floor and from our small balcony you had a wonderful view of the old town and the Basilica Notre-Dame de Fouviere. The reception staff were helpful and spoke good English too. The only negative we found was the shower over the bath and no anti slip mat in the bath - as we are both retired we thought people with mobility issues would have much trouble using this shower. "Decent location, nice staff, strange decor/style which seemed to really date the property. The air conditioning barely cooled down the room. The bathroom curtains are very sheer and so it was extremely hot in the bathroom, even at 10am with the blazing sun on a high floor. It was 30 degrees C during our 1 night stay in May so quite miserable sleeping/showering."
