"Lovely quaint hotel. Staff attentive and helpful. As per other reviews yes there are no lifts second floor rooms are a slight hike up. Yes the rooms could do with upgrading but for what you pay for a night and an ease of access to the port no complaints from us. We had a family quadruple room, good size but really warm room, no air con small windows but lots of road noise when open"

"This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also. Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

"The place is very basic and comfortable. The room was very clean. We weren't able to adjust the temperature in the room which we would have liked. We did all at the desk but it's possible that language differences made our request useless. It's a great base for Normandy sightseeing."

"Stayed 4 nights. Clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was ok, eggs, bacon pastries and breads. Not always quick to replenish, and toaster broken one morning. Restaurant was ok, nothing special, but no other restaurants nearby apart from Mc Donald’s. Generally staff friendly and helpful. Always plenty of parking. Dogs seemed to be allowed in for breakfast and 2 were actually sitting on seats at the table being fed meats by their owners!"

"Staff was excellent.. always ready to serve. Property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was a good size … double sinks! I just wish they would offer REAL coffee (at a reasonable cost) and not those machines. The machine coffees are not good at all. GREAT water view from our room. Lots of restaurants and shops to walk to."

"The room was ridiculously small with hardly room to stand. Two single beds crammed in and hurt my head hitting it on the light over the bed because of its position. There was not a restaurant in the hotel and the dining place recommended, within a 3 minute walk, had a large open plan seating area catering for parties and many people with counters from which various foods could be ordered and paid for and then collected by you when ready. My steak was an absolute apology and totally...

"The roof bar was closed so shouldn’t have been advertised as open when booking. Room wasn’t adequately prepared for heat. Fan was very weak and plug socket where we wanted fan didn’t work. This is definitely more of a hostel than a hotel. It is very very basic. Perfectly clean though and helpful staff but I wouldn’t stay again"
