"We had a wonderful week. Maria and her husband are fantastic hosts. Throughout the week they checked everything was alright and asked if we needed anything. The breakfasts that Maria delivered every day were fabulous, plentiful and freshly prepared. We had freshly prepared tarts, fruit, homemade jams etc. The house is perfect for two, set in beautiful gardens, with the use of a small swimming pool.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visited the same area in the future. "

"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain."

Location is steps away from the Chateau Royal as well as many good restaurants. Highly recommend this excelent hotel."

"Very nice overall experiences, every detail is well thought of. Excellent breakfast especially their home made jam and yogurt. Limited dining options but we tried two restaurants nearby and they both exceed our expectations. Remember to reserve tables as they can go quickly especially during school holidays. Hugh recommend! "Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."
