"The Antigonish Evergreen Inn was easily the best stay I've had at hotel in a long time. It's a pleasant spot on the outskirts of the town overlooking some scenic hills and fields, and the room I stayed in was both cozy and comfortable.
Not only that, the staff was extremely helpful, giving me a complimentary shaving kit, toothbrush, and toothpaste when I forgot to pack mine, and the exceedingly patient owner even entertained my request to show me how to close my Venetian blinds the right way! There's definitely a specific and friendly vibe that you really only get with a family-owned business like that.
The free breakfast is also not to miss, with oatmeal, delicious local blueberries, pastries, coffee, and more. The small shared dining area in the front office is also a great place to meet new travelers, and I was lucky enough to sit down with a variety of pleasant and colorful fellow guests.
Although unfortunately I don't see myself visiting Antigonish again any time soon, if I were to, I would be staying at the Antigonish Evergreen Inn."
