The ocean view room as clearly advertised when booking wasn’t provided to us upon arrival, and the management was quite unprofessional and slow in handling the matter, they eventually moved us to an ocean view room (also our room didn’t have proper hot water - becomes cold after a min of running- and pool deck wasn’t sanded/treated and each of us got numerous splinters from it), but the way they handled it took away from the experience, as well as them charging us for the services that were never provided which we had to open a dispute for. The majority of the staff seem to be knowledgeable and willing to help, but the management is absolutely horrific and unprofessional. Not only they do not understand even basic hospitality, but they engage into fraudulent practices charging you for services that were never rendered. Bad business. Not worth the money and all the headaches.

Romantic villa and view. Needs some TLC

The place great for a beautiful romantic getaway. The villas are beautiful. The outdoor bathroom and private infinity pool makes it feel special. Service is friendly but remember you're on island time. The hotel is extremely remote. 40 minutes from basseterre and there are few restaurant options within 20 minutes of the resort. The place is falling into some disrepair. Paint and roof repairs needed throuout. I read the new ownership grou p has a plan to restore the place. I hope they do soon. The place deserves it.

The property was rundown a lot of buildings were derelict. It looks like they haven't maintained them in years. The service was pretty bad / staff didn't seem to want to do their jobs.

If you are looking for a place to detach this is it for sure. The cabin was great and the personal infinity pool was fantastic (but not heated) and the view was amazing. Some downsides were the bathroom being completely outside making nighttime urinations interesting. Not much hot water so use sparingly and not enough for us to fill the tub. No TVs but there is a projector with Netflix which was a nice touch but the volume wasn’t great and even at full volume we still needed the closed captioning. Also if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs because the frogs are quite loud, I didn’t mind much. Breakfast was free and pretty good. The on site restaurant was only open certain days but you could get room service at all times. Food was good but not spectacular. Main pool was not heated and March didn’t quite get hot enough to make it super comfortable. And the jacuzzi didn’t work. There were only a few other couples staying so we felt like the only ones there. There is no onsite spa and any hiking requires a guide. There is nothing close by so make sure you bring anything with you want with you along with cash for when you do decide to leave. Wanted to give 5 stars but they need to fix a few things. For the property manager maybe put screens around bathroom area and hooks for the curtains. The wind blew them all over the place. On a side note it would make a great place for season 4 of White Lotus.

This property was exquisite, with enormous open air villas with private pools and ocean (plus island) or volcano views. It was peaceful, with the perfect mix of rainforest and island and super attentive staff. The food was wonderful, both at Kitchen and Arthur’s. Would absolutely go back!

The resort is in an amazing location in a mountain area. The staff is awesome, the chefs are Michelin star quality. Full gym, great pool area, great hiking, you will see plenty of wildlife. The rooms are awesome, like living with outdoors feeling. Definitely get a pool room, it’s the best. They are in the process of reconditioning many cottages and common amenities, but you can see good progress. If you want an experience with nature, incredible views, great service and amazing food, this is your place.

Belle Mount is a magical place! We absolutely loved the experience. It was raining during our visit which only enriched the pleasure, hearing the rain on the roof and in the forest. We didn't get to use our private pool because the water was freezing during our mid-Jan stay. The room was huge and the outdoor bathroom was very nice. The staff took such good care of us, anticipating our every need, there with the golf cart driving us to breakfast and dinner. Desiree is such a delightful person, greeting us warmly. Other staff also went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I had a spa treatment and the masseur found muscles to soothe I didn't know I had. Our only regret is that we were there on nights when the main restaurant was closed (not open every night). We would have liked to have dined there. We were heading to the sister island, Nevis, and were not able to come on the weekend. Oh well, another reason to return!!

We spent six nights at Belle Mont Sanctuary. The best feature was the gorgeous location at the north end of the island and also the kind staff . The setting is truly lovely. Completed in 2014, the sad part is that the estate is already in MUCH need of repair and portions are incomplete. We were the ONLY guests at the facility. The staff was very pleasant, but the hours of operation were limited, the main pool heater broken, the tennis courts are closed, and the golf course is not useable. What once was a hidden gem I’m sure, needs someone to come in and save it. We had a wonderful 25th anniversary getaway, but the marketing is misleading. At $800 /night, it was too expensive to have all of those deficits. You can tell that the facility was incredible when it was built and every day we’d say to each other, “It breaks my heart to see the emptiness and deterioration.” It’s currently government owned, and hopefully a private investor comes and turns it around.

The staff is amazing! The resort is so peaceful would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time.

First off the service was A ...10 out of 10. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, food was very good too! That said we got the feeling that the property is having financial difficulties. When we walked further back into the property, there were several cottages that were completely run down, needed repairs, weeds growing everywhere, really an eye-sore. Please note that our cottage was beautiful! And for each of the 3 days we were there, there was only one or two other couples all day long around the pool (ie., very few guests). It made us wonder why? Our thoughts are that Belle Mont is very isolated and very expensive, it caters to the wealthy for sure. We thought from a marketing point of view they should lower the cost of accommodations, significantly, as that would encourage more guests and overall the profit would be higher due to the higher volume. Just our thoughts. But it is a very beautiful and clean property. There isn't much to do around the property and no town nearby to walk to. It's perfect for chilling out and reading a book by the pool, naps, great food, etc. And they could do a MUCH better job at stocking nice red and white wines. They kept running out of what we ordered (like 3 different wines!), but maybe most guests like other drinks?? My comments are meant to be constructive, not critical. And again the staff was FABULOUS in every way!!
