"Check-in is supposed to be 4:00 pm but my room wasn’t available until 5:00. Staff seemed very unbothered and I had to keep following up with front desk.. food and amenities weren’t anything special "

"Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several issues that took away from the experience. The positives first. The room was clean, and the common areas of the hotel were generally well maintained. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were friendly, polite, and professional. However, the hotel feels quite outdated, and that became noticeable during our stay. The AC unit is inside the room, and every time it turned on it was loud enough to wake us up throughout the night. It made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. We booked an ocean-facing balcony, which should have been a highlight, and the view itself was nice. Unfortunately, our balcony was directly above rooftop HVAC units from the restaurant below, and the noise was constant and very distracting. It was loud enough that we couldn’t comfortably sit outside or have a normal conversation. On top of that, the roof below our balcony had visible debris and garbage, which really took away from the overall feel of the room and the price we paid. The most disappointing part was overhearing another couple nearby discussing what they paid for their room, which was about half of what we paid for what seemed like a very similar setup. That left us feeling like we significantly overpaid and took away from the overall value of the stay. Overall, while the hotel has some positives, the noise issues, condition of the property, and pricing inconsistency made the experience frustrating and not worth the price we paid."

"I got a standard room for four people, and it was really small. No room anywhere to put any suitcases but other than that everything was excellent. Definitely will be going back and getting a bigger room next time."

"Solid stay. But inconvenienced by the filming of The Statement while we were there. Had no prior notification or agreement to such conditions. Pros: -beautiful property and private access beach -excellent restaurant and service at the Society Table -Great pool (the one we had access to; other was closed due to above) minus one point below -Fitness center and classes -Kid friendly -housekeeping top notch -Variety of stores-ice cream/candy store was a hit with my kids Cons -smallish rooms and bathrooms -lax rules regarding poolside eating/drinking (depends on your perspective) but swimming in a pool with spilt frozen drinks and greasy fingers from chicken tenders and fries isn’t exactly my idea of a refreshing pool -slow / limited elevators Would I recommend? Yes but make sure there’s no special events such as above going on. "

"The bathroom door got stuck and wont close or open as soon as I entered the room. Had to call maintenance to get it fixed, even after that the door wouldn't close properly and my kid had a hard time closing it for the reminder of the vacation. Definitely not a 4 star hotel with the amenities, there is no exhaust in the bath and the pipes are flimsy, the towel holder broke, not enough lighting in the room, checked another room and there was an extra tall table lamp which wasn't there for whatever reason in my room. Positives were the housekeeping and maintenance were prompt with their services and cleaning was done daily. Apart from that, lots of areas for improvement and isnt worth the cost. "

"we had an amazing experience, such a gem! the property was really well maintained & the staff was incredibly kind. it was the perfect beach getaway! photos don’t do it justice. only thing I would critique was the beds could have been comfier, but it wouldn’t prevent me from coming back for the price we paid.
