"Beautiful property in a wonderful scenic setting, with a path from the door down to the bay below. Good views (when the sea mist lifted) of the sea, all the way to Le Havre. Would have been a lovely quiet setting, surrounded by pastures and trees, although we couldn't use our sun balcony for a couple of hours due to a group of 20 to 30 people (guests of the proprietor?) having a very noisy outside buffet party directly underneath us"

"The hotel is conveniently located across the beach — just a short walk from Les Planches — and offers great comfort. The $21 buffet breakfast for each adult is an absolute winner since kids eat for free. The hotel offers both a sushi bar and a French restaurant, two convenient additions when you’re tired from a day spent swimming at the beach, which is what we came for. However, we thought Trouville to be a lot livelier as a resort than Deauville, with a mix of small French town charm, beautiful...

"We spent 10 days at la Résidence Les embruns in September, and we loved it. It's an older property that would benefit from some renovations and updates (like a fresh coat of paint all over). That said, it's very close to the wonderful beach, and also services like a grocery store (Carrefour Market). Carole at the reception desk is a pleasure to deal with. Downtown is about one kilometre away, an easy and pleasant walk. Very recommended."

"Wonderful b&b. Private parking. Free wifi. Large room with everything you need. We would have benefitted from air conditioning one of the days that was very hot but our hosts did everything they could to make us comfortable. Breakfast served on a trolley to enjoy in our room in the morning."
