"Poor room ‘biggy’ 307. Two small single beds with very slippery mattresses that fall off the base. Sofa bed alternative creaky. Bathroom smells damp. 4 coat hangers for 2 people for 3 nights. No storage. Bizarre pool hours - no coffee on roof - breakfast staff unhelpful - reception staff very good. So much potential but missing a repeat visit."

"Hotel is in a great location for walking around the city. We loved the breakfast, gym and swimming pool on the roof top. Staff were always happy and very helpful with local travel advice, especially to Monseratt. We recommend this hotel."

"Staff was extremely friendly. Spoke English very well. Room was small, but put together well and the space utilized well. Definitely in an area of good walking distance to a lot of local attractions. Right across from a really nice park. You can take a taxi Uber or walk to the cruise port. Cruise port is about a 45 minute walk."

"It was a gem in the middle of the city. Well located, walking distance to many places of interest, including La Sagrada Familia. Very nice and clean, they provide the basics for your stay AND MORE! Breakfast is not included but for a good price you get a buffet breakfast with delicious food, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. Definitely in my list for my next trip to Barcelona."

"Nice comfortable bed with a topper. The foam pillows were awesome. Bathroom was clean and nicely stocked with the usual toiletries. Front desk staff was very helpful with dinner recommendations. Area was nice near the Arc de Triomf and a very nice city center with lots of restaurants. Elevator was a little slow upon arrival due to another guest using it but fine after that. I felt that it was a little pricey but very nice accommodations."

"This was the worst experience at a hotel I have ever had. I booked a family room for two adults and called ahead to change our reservation to three adults, which the hotel confirmed. Upon arrival, I was told that the room only accommodates two adults and one child and I would need to book another room for the third person. When I tried to explain that I called ahead and confirmed the third adult, I was met with no apology and “that’s our policy it’s listed on our site.” Expedia explicitly states...

"Awesome stay for a 2 day stop in Barcelona before a cruise. Love the modern updates to a classic building. Our room had an amazing panted ceiling. Great breakfast and patio. Our room had the cutest balcony overlooking the street - perfect for drinking coffee. Great location - easily walkable to everything we wanted to see. The staff was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!!! We will be back!"
