"Andorra's national language is Catalan, I understand that. I made the mistake of wishing the receptionist at the hotel 'good day' in Spanish when I arrived. He did not reply at all - not even in English - and stared at me. I don't believe this is the correct response. I would have thought that replying in English would have been a more appropriate reply to my aberration rather than silence, especially from a hotel receptionist. It reminded me of when I wished a shopkeeper 'good day' in the Basque country - an awkward silence. "

Good location for walking with access to shops & restaurants. Onsite restaurant not accessible without reservation over holidays - would’ve been great to know that when booking. "
