The lobby and rooms are nice and it’s in a good location to get to downtown. The room was not ready until 45 minutes after check-in time which was annoying because it wasn’t crowded. The bar had good food. Overall a good place!

The room was clean but a bit dated. There were only hot tubs for the amenities but the gift shop doesn’t sell swimsuits (we forgot one). The kids hot tub area is dated. Carmel Bay View Inn
Loved how close it was to downtown and the ability to use the pool - the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The other tricky part was parking that you may need to park on top part of property, but overall an awesome stay !
