"Check in was easy, Game room,fitness room and laundry were locked most of the time and didn’t have access. Front desk was not open in the mornings and no one was there working in the mornings. The room was outdated; screen to the balcony didn’t work great and the room was not vacuumed. Found food and garbage in the main bedroom on the floor at the nightstands when we arrived. Offered parking on check out day for a fee, but no staff was there to pay and get a parking pass so we had to leave to...

"We stayed in one of the suites across from the original property and it was perfect. It accommodated our family of 6 and the walking distance to the boardwalk and beach was close and easy especially with two toddlers. The suite was super clean. The only complaint would be them not enforcing the quiet hours, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors. Especially the loud ones at 3:30am with loud music and yelling. Other than that we had a great experience!"

"Pros: The issue with the air conditioning was addressed fairly quickly, and the on-site handyman did an excellent job. The proximity to Newburyport was also a major plus. Cons: While the room appeared tidy, it wasn’t as clean as expected. "The hôtel is a beautiful building in a lovely area of Exeter. The breakfast was very good compared to other hotels. Staff was ok. The room was far from tip top: plaster damaged by water not repaired on the ceiling, rusty heater, constant humming in the room, proximity of the other room where guests were yelling and slamming doors at midnight, slight bad odor in the room, etc. 3.5 star rating is not accurate at all.
