"Upon arrival, we had trouble turning on the TV because the remote wasn’t working properly. We called the Hideaway Inn’s phone number, and the representative assured us that the innkeeper would come to help. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up. After troubleshooting the issue ourselves, we figured out that plugging the Roku into a different HDMI port solved the problem. We also noticed that the remote’s batteries were nearly dead. It was disappointing that no one followed up or came to assist us, especially after we were told someone would. Additionally, the bed had an unpleasant, unusual smell, which made our stay less comfortable. Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of service and attention to basic room maintenance."

"Staff very helpful. Clean for an older facility. Very expense for what you get the. Rooms were adequate but I paid $540 for 2 nights. Columbus Day weekend I get, but still pretty steap."

"Rooms were clean The downside was that we were told the beach bar and cafe was open until 9 PM, and they decided to close at 6 without any care or concern for people who booked here based on website info or posted info"

"Want a clean room with a spectacular view of the lake. Book here! I love the old Inn and the Owner was friendly and enthusiastic about making our stay special. The breakfast was nothing, waffles, but they view made up for it. First time I actually took photos at a hotel."
