Lemme preface this by saying that I have fairly low standards and at the end of the day, I don't really read bad reviews. I just want a bed to sleep in.
Just gonna be honest about what I noticed:
The beds and pillows are pretty hard. The bathrooms have everything you need but are kinda old and there was hair in the shower. There was also hair on the bed. There's an iron but no ironing board. The fridge didn't work and was stinky (specifically in 219) and the guy said he'd call maintenance but they never came. On the website they advertise free breakfast and a pool but there are neither, at least as of July 2025. The elevator makes funky noises but works - we still used the stairs. Could've been a personal issue but my card kept getting deactivated and we kept going back for more cards. The ice machine works, yay! It's downtown which means you're minutes from major restaurants, coffee shops, malls, etc. The AC makes rickety noises but works GREAT.
Some sketchy people in the area. They didn't necessarily look threatening but I wouldn't walk around at night. General tip: Mormon 4th of July is on July 23rd I guess? Lots of fireworks from 10p-12a.
Overall, it did the job but maybe not worth the 70/night. It's up to you.
